What do I need before starting?
Getting Staynup running is simple, and most of it happens in one afternoon. Here's what to have ready before you begin.
Requirements
- An Airbnb account with listings — your listings need to be connected as co-host so Staynup can send and receive guest messages for them. You'll grant Staynup
full_accesson Airbnb, so no password is ever shared. - A WhatsApp, Zalo, or Telegram account (optional) — used for team notifications and handoff messages, so your team can respond without opening the dashboard. You can start without it and connect it later.
That's it. You don't need technical setup, special hardware, or a support team to get started.
The optional messaging accounts only matter if you want your team to receive handoff alerts on their phones. Staynup works without them — your team would just respond from the dashboard instead.
How long
Onboarding takes about 5 minutes — creating your workspace and connecting your account.

The single biggest factor in how quickly you reach automation is how complete your property facts are. The more detail you provide, the more the AI can answer on its own — and the less time you spend on handoffs later.
