How do I choose the AI's tone?
Every AI reply carries your tone. Choosing the right one makes the AI sound like part of your brand instead of a generic bot — and consistent tone is a big part of why guests trust the AI's answers. You pick a single tone per workspace.
Tone options
All tones are still grounded and safe — tone only changes how the AI sounds, never what it's allowed to claim.
Custom tone
If a preset doesn't fit, write your own. You get up to 500 characters to describe exactly how the AI should sound. Be specific — describe the personality, the energy, and any phrasing habits you want.
Example custom tone:
You are a warm and efficient Vietnamese host. Greet guests by name. Use short, friendly sentences with light emoji but never more than one per message. Be respectful and deferential with older guests. Always end replies with a helpful next step, like "Let me know if you need anything else."
The more precisely you describe the voice, the more consistently the AI reproduces it across every reply.
Choosing a tone
Pick the tone that matches your brand, then stick with it — switching tones mid-season makes the AI feel inconsistent to guests.
- Start with Friendly if you're not sure; it's the safest, most broadly appealing default.
- Switch to Professional if you manage many units or host business travelers.
- Use Concise for high-volume listings where guests mainly want quick facts.
- Use Custom once you know your brand voice and want it matched exactly.
You can change tone at any time — new replies immediately use the new style.
Your tone is injected into every AI reply — consistent tone makes guests trust the AI.
